BALLYMENA GOLF CLUB
Situated about two miles north east of Ballymena, on the fringes of the "Britain in Bloom" award-winning village of Broughshane, the entire course is dominated by Slemish Mountain. The latter is world renowned due to its association with Ireland's patron saint, Patrick, and offers a superb scenic backdrop to enhance your round.
The course is visitor friendly and there are not too many opportunities to knock your ball out of bounds. With almost no water, the chances of losing bag fulls of balls are at a minimum. The part heathland, part parkland course is relatively short at 5,300 metres, due to six searching par 3's and a challenging well-bunkered back nine. Scoring is not as simple as its length makes it appear. It is well drained and the driest inland course in Ireland, making it playable all year round.
The Club offers modern facilities including the Global Resturant , changing areas and showers, Pro Shop and putting green/practice area. Membership is available for men and women of all ages, including juniors, and there are various competitions members can take part in as well as a regualr calendar of social events.
We look forward to welcoming you!
